Making a bootable linux pendrive

Step 1. First of all  download UNetbootin


click the download(windows) button as shown above and save it to any appropriate directory.

Step 2. Download any linux distro you want to install eg. Linux mint,  

Step 3. Now plugin your pendrive (minimum 4gb required) and open UNetbootin and follow number 1 through 6 as shown below
  1.  select diskimage
  2.  select iso
  3.  browse to your saved linux distro iso
  4.  select usb drive
  5.  select your pendrive
  6.  click ok

Step 4. Wait for it to complete installation and click exit.


Step 5. Now insert the USB drive into the computer you’d like to boot Linux into.

Step 6. Start the computer and select boot from usb in BIOS if not selected already( usually done by hitting the F12 key as soon as the computer starts.)
