How to give an easy to recognizable name for your android device connected to a router. You might have noticed that if you check your router's currently connected client list your android device has a weird name, now how to rectify it? I will tell you how just follow the below tutorial step by step. (mac address is censored for security reasons, don't mind it ;) ) 1. Go to your android devices'  Developer options 2. Select Device hostname 3. Type your desired device name and select save. 4. Now check your routers currently connected client list. you will see that it gets updated to your new device name.
