How to make favicon for blogs without downloading any software
Make a simple favicon for your blogs in just a few easy steps.
Note: Click to enlarge images if they appear too blurry.Step 1: Open photopea
Step 2: Click File > New, a "New Project" window menu will appear.
Step 5: From this window Change Background to transparent and click Create.
Step 6: After creating the transparent layer click on the Text tool from the left toolbar
Step 7: Now Click on the middle of the transparent layer and write your first two initials (its JD for me).
Step 8: Select the letters and change the font size and font type if you want (I have kept the default font type but changed the default font size to 54px).
Step 9: Right click on the text layer, a pop up window will appear; select Blending Options from the pop up menu.
Step 10: After selecting blending options a new window will appear named Layer Style. Check the check box next to stroke from that window.
Play around with the size and colour until it suits you and click ok.
Step 11: Now click on the plus(+) sign next to stroke to create another stroke around the previous one and fiddle around with the size and colour adjustments as you did in step 10 above and then click OK to save it.
Step 12: Click on the selection tool from the left tool bar and change the free option from the drop down menu to fixed ratio.
Step 13: Hover your cursor over your text and create a square selection. Adjust the square selection a bit to align the text in the centre position of the square .
Step 14: select the crop tool from the left tool bar, and choose the selection option for it then click the tick mark to apply the crop.
Step 15: Now go to File menu and choose export as > PNG>save to export the cropped image to a png file.
Step 16: A new window will appear asking you to download the exported png file, select save file radio button and click ok to save it to your computer.
